An industrial segment with substantial employment levels, very high technological standards, and ever-increasing contributions to taxation pending a more precise regulatory definition: this is the context for NOVOMATIC Italia's decision to focus increasingly on issues of responsibility and sustainability.
According to Markus Buechele, CEO of the Italian Group, "it is significant that ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) criteria are increasingly determining the horizon in which to place being a company in Italy and around the world. This is an increasingly pressing duty for all industry segments and for all of us as citizens."
Precisely because of this wide-ranging awareness, NOVOMATIC Italia aims to combine competitiveness in the physical and online public gaming market with an ever-increasing commitment to the environmental impact of every operational activity in the Italian territory where it is present through its products and dealer network.
Of course, in order to achieve such a goal, it is essential to foster economic sustainability, an essential element for building a resilient business, which, as Buechele explains, especially characterized 2022, "a year that saw the NOVOMATIC Italia Group grow considerably in the market but also in terms of employment."
The company's ESG journey began several years ago and has never stopped thanks to the definition of precise and far-sighted objectives with which to look to the future and encourage the reduction of the environmental impact of activities, through planning processes and targeted investments.
